74 charger windshield wipers disconnected

hi - how do you put the windshield wiper motor control arm back on wipers??  i can hardly get my hands into hole to put it back on.  there is no nut on wiper arm - do i need to get some parts??  do i have to stand on car hood to get my hand into wiper arm.  this is a tough one??  thanks

the wiper pivots require a plastic bushing that you can pick up at any parts store or from your local daimler-chrysler dealer.  make sure you put lithium grease in the bushings before you snap them onto the pivots and the wiper arm pivot connecting rod.
