question here guys..I'm indexing a lake wood bellhousing..I have a hemi..and i have it hoisted in the air by using a carb addapter to lift it..it does block any air from getting in the intake manifold..will this harm anything while i rotate the crankshaft?

Worst case would be to pull the plugs. It really shouldn't be a big problem unless you used a gasket under the plate..  Next time you have the plate off you could drill a very small hole in the plate. Just don't do it while it's over the manifold.... ;)

I did'nt use a gasket..what would that have done? Drilling a small whole would let some air in right? thanks!

Ummmm,, yeah...   ;)  Shouldn't be a need but a very small hole can't hurt..

I didn't think you did or would use a gasket. Read it again and see (DEVIL)...
