A recent thread on here said that the original expansion valve will work with R134a.  The correct looking dryer with the correct dessicant is available from Classic Auto Air in Florida.  Most folks get rid of the old Chrysler compressor and use a Sanden 508.  In one of the recent threads, someone said that the "throttling valve"  I believe it was didn't work well with R134a.  I might be wrong on that.  But it was something to do with the old V2 compressor.  There are some folks on here that really know about this subject.  Hopefully they will step in and get you straightened out on this.  Good Luck.

Several ppl says expansion valve needs to be changed and several ppl say isn't necesary. A Mopar muscle magazine I have where talks about the conversion sais is necessary. Anyway the deal is my original one what it was already working with 134 gas got stuck, so IF there is a difference I just saying IN CASE is necessary.

I'm really interested on the dryer. Will search for the website of dealer you got me.

About Compressor, there is a Brand called OMEGA who carries the compressor gasket set for RV2 Mopar and it says compatible for 12 and 134. Don't have right now the PN for the gasket set but if they sell that gasket COMPATIBLE does mean RV2 works to both gas kind. Mopar Muscle magazine also says it works, and tech who is fixing my A/C also says the same.

the search still goes on.

and about the info about what does need to upgrade to 134 I have read TONS of testimonials... You won't believe all the versions. here some examples:
