How the frog does the "boomerang" lookin piece come off?  ???

Don't want to pry hard yet in case of damaging the piece...  :-\

there is a nut on the inside, take off the interior pillar trim and you can get it. about the center of the curve. then there are two screws in the window channel. Take the whisker off and you'll see them. Sorry I have no pics to show
