Thanks to all that helped with my questions putting this car back on the road. As a former Chevy guy, Mopars were a whole new ball game for me and I'll admit it wasn't an easy transition.
The car has been in the family since it was new, but was in storage for over 20 years. Bringing the old girl back to life wasn't too difficult since there is only 48000 original miles on the car. Since it wasn't used for such a long time the original 318 was very gummed up, so I elected to replace the engine with a built 340.
Along with new brakes and some TLC, cleaning etc. she's back on the road after all these years. Future plans include 15" wheels (TTO's or Cragar SS) and new suspension components.
Here's some recent pictures, more to follow.
Cars owned:
1968 Dodge Charger, 48k orig. miles, family owned since new.
Not a Hemi, a mini-hemi 340.
