 ???

G'day guys,

I'm after a little help which may be generic for most Chargers with 383's.....I would like to know if anyone has pictures of the following or can tell me what goes where.

1. There's a thin rubber tube below the heater blower motor (not the large drain hose) on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It's like a hose which provides suction for the A/C unit and relies on vacuum. Where does it connect to in the engine compartment ? In the top picture below, it can be seen as 2 thin hoses meeting a "T"piece, then that hose going back to the cannister underneath the battery tray.

2. There's a canister of some type under my battery tray - looks like pollution gear I guess. Where are the 2 rubber tubes from it supposed to go ? One looks to go across the firewall and joins up with the tubes in (1), but the second (on my car at least goes to a connection on my Edelbrock Carby....does this sound right.

3. The tubes underneath my twin snorkel air cleaner.....I'm sure they're meant to go somewhere other than the air cleaner, but mine don't.

Any help is appreciated. I'll try and post some pics if this is a bit hard to grasp from my text.

1... it could be the vacuum controled kind heater valve that plugs on the thin hose, the T link could it be just put to bypass the heater valve and keeps the vacuum working somehow ???

3... ilustrated on second pic. thats the temperature sensor mounted on air cleaner. One is vacuum input and the other one is vacuum output ( no matter which one ) One sensor tee goes to vacuum non ported tee on carburator ( rear of carb ). The other tee is to close air vents snorkels and just pick hot air from driver side exhaust manifold area for a while you are warming the engine, opening the lower air entry. You need a T link to connect both vacuum diaphragms to the sensor tee.

2... ilustrated on third pic. Canister is plugged on hose coming from gas tank, and then to ported carb vacuum tee.
