Do you think it would be ok to keep this color interior if the exterior was black? Opinions please, what is this interior color anyway?

Sweet T

Works for me.  I have tan interior in my 69 and have thought about going black.  If I do, I'll be leaving the interior tan.  There are a few colours I would change my interior to black but black is not one of them.
No, it ain't a Hemi.....thank God!

Black will look better than an orange exterior with tan and I see that quite often.  ;)

I think you can match any color with black and not have to worry.  It will always look great.

"Black and Tan"  I don't think I need to say anymore. :icon_smile_big:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Interior trim code is C6Y. The dash pad and dash trim items that look brown are actually Majesty Gold in color. The yellow (butter) is listed as Ember Gold in the Legendary Auto Catalog; I've also seen it referenced as Autumn Gold. Me Likes.

My first one('73) was brown and had a tan interior. I painted the car black with 3 small bronze/tan pin stripes, soon after I bought it and I thought the combo looked really good.

Take a look through my side window. :icon_smile_approve:  I don't think it looks bad.
