I have no seat belts in my 73 Charger, and I am not sure were they go?  I have front buckets.  I am rigging up some 68 belts and retractors for the driver side useing the two back bolts on the seat to mount them, but I would like to know were they go.  I put it up on the lift and couldn't find a hole for the seat belt bolts.

74 belts uses double retractor setups to front seats with a hanger. both belts are joined on one male terminal and hooks on only one female buckle to each bucket

72/73 seatbelts are completelly different from earliers and laters, lap is retractor with male terminal that hooks on only one female buckle. shoulder is a non retractor bels hanging from roof and with a special terminal that hooks on a stud located on male lap belt terminal

71 use two female buckles to every bucket, one to hook the lap belt with retractor and the other one to hook the shoulder belt. Both male terminals

not sure about 70. I think same as 71s.

69 and earliers the buckes are male, and the retractor belts are females, same as shoulder belt hanging from roof. Use two differente male buckles on each bucket same as 71s.

All third gens uses same bolting points with 74 exception for shoulder setup where retractor is bolted on back or rear lower panel, and hanger as you noticed is around the "B pillar" area. Lap belt retractor is located on floor at a side just right down the lower rear panel. Buckles on tranny tunnel close to the end of center console. shoulders are bolted almost at the end or quarter window.

72 and 73 setups... Both roof/shoulder belts assemblies are the same, same as female buckle and hooks/terminals

71 shoulder setup is the same/similar with just difference on terminal using a regular male one to fit an a different female buckle than the lap belt, as stated above and below.

I don't have a complete 71 setup pics view, but a 71 interior shows two female buckles on seat, so you can guess how is the assembly.

Neither I have earliers assemblies pics

another detail... 72/73 seatbelts are equiped with wires on lap retractors to make works the seatbelt buzzer and warning light.

AAAAND don't worry, they are easy to find... 73 is the best sold Charger of all years ( around 130K ), and if you think 72 setup is the same, you will make it. Is not REALLY hard to find a complete set including roof belt clips and rear bench set. They appear oftenlly on ebay.
