Were they painted the color of the car?  what about the master cylinder ones?  thanks  matt

Yes Matt the studs for both the wiper motor and master cylinder were body color.They are part of reinforcement plate that is spot welded to the front of dash.

Thanks Bob, were these studs hardened?  I have one that is broken off and need to replace, I was just going to use some regular threaded rod and weld it in......
