hey Halfast AMX here with a question for my bro. He just picked up a sweet 62 newport w/a 361 . The problem is that he was changing plugs/wires and forgot to mark where they go. He cant find a manual and he is very eager to get it started. Can anyone help with this one?

the drives side of the engine is 1,3,5,7 and the passenger side of the engine is 2,4,6,8 and the distibutor rotates in a counter clock wise rotation with the #1 terminal pointing roughly at the front corner of the passenger side valve cover.

Thanks for your response. I just tried what you mentioned and had no success. Do you know if #1 spark plug is at the front of the engine or back?

sorry about that, # 1 is the front plug towards the radiator on the drivers side and #2 on the passenger side is the front plug towards the radiator.
