Speeder!

This guy was driving down the road speeding.
About this time he looks in the mirror and notices a Highway Patrolman following him.
So he pulls over to the side of the road.
The Patrolman gets out of his car and walks up to the man who had been speeding.
He Says: sir do you know why i stopped you?

The man replies yes i was speeding,but officer if you will let me go,Ill do anything.

The Patrolman thinks on it a second and says:Ok if you can give me an excuse to why you were speeding that i have never heard before.Ill let you go.

The man thinks for a second and say:MY wife left me the other day for a Highway Patol Man,I thought you were him trying to bring her back!
