Blue Pentastar

I just wanted to give an early heads up for next year. We are finalizing the plans for the TDC meet in Jefferson City in May 2007.

So far the info is as follows May 5 - 6 2007 at the Truman Hotel (formerly the Ramada Inn). The meet will be on the grounds of the Hotel it is a large hotel with lots of parking and a grass field that we can use also. More info will follow as the days progress. Thought I would give us something to look forward to in the spring.

It will be free to everyone and open to the public.
Last TDC meet in Jeff had a 162 Chargers let us see what we can do with a Regonal meet.

Hey Mike,

Is that the same Ramada that was one of the designated motels this year? I stayed at that one and although it is an older facility it was nice. The free movie theater and breakfast buffet was nice too.  :yesnod:

Yes it is the same hotel that was used as the second hotel on our list. They have been very helpful in setting up this event.

I also stayed at that hotel. It was nice and I had a good time in the parking lot every night. I will think about making a return trip with my 3.23 pig and drive it there. I need to get my signature loan in order for the fuel costs.
If it ain't wide open; it ain't running.        Rule number one in motocross racing: Pin it; row the gear box; and wait until you hit something.     At work my motto is: If you need me, call someone else.

I'll pencil it into the plans for next year.  Is there going to be a mailing/flyer soon?

Blue Pentastar

We are still working on it. I hope to have the details ironed out soon. It will be put up on the TDC website and ours as well.

Thanks

I am glad Nebraska made it, too.

Blue Pentastar

Yes several of the meets have been set. Wisconsin is a go but it is in Beloit Wisconsin this year. Stayed tuned to the TDC website is all I can say. Wayne has updated it this week It is changed from last night when I looked at it. He is also planning a met in eureka, California for those who are on the west coast. I'm tempted but that is a long haul and I will have to see how funds and help at the store are by then.

It is always a great pleasure to see you. Let me Know if there is anything you need help with. This will be the traditional 2 day meet like Boerne this year and is in a new location.

Look forward to seeing you and everyone else at our and the other meets.

I will try to make it to this one with a Charger in tow (probably the yellow 68 and it might be running by then).......

I did see two 1969s up at the 63 Diner show here in Columbia and mentioned to the owners about the registry and the new Charger shows next year.  Neither one had registered their cars yet, so TDC and the 69 registry will soon be hearing from them.......

I saw the same two Chargers at the 63 Diner show. I had the 73 Sublime Duster and 79 Little Red. The Chargers were nice I wish that my 66 was back out of paint shop so I could have shown it. I missed the meet this year in Jeff City but not next year. I will have to check out website and register the 66. Even though the Duster wasn't perfect we still took first place in our class. I did give the crowd a little proof of MOPAR power when we left. OIf course this was after a Chevy tried but failed to impress the crowd.

lakotakid

John, Its great to hear from ya also. I am not sure what meets we will be able to attend. Depends on when they are held I guess. I know Texas always sounds good as it is home away from home. I look forward to seeing that charger of yours with that big hole in the roof. JMO

Blue Pentastar

Jerry thanks for the kind words. I hope the show this year is as good as the last one. We are changing a lot of things and trying a lot of new things. Time will tell I guess. We are still working on the cruise logistics and a couple of other little extras. Hopefully mother nature will smille on us again.

Blue Pentastar

The Truman Hotel is the host hotel with a rate of $60 per night and there are rooms left. I checked today it is looking good for a great time with friends. Moparjohn I plan to attend Boerne, Beloit and Nebraska City pretty sure. Might try to sneek in at least a little time at one more if the job allows.

Well we wrapped up this afternoon and had a great time. I appreciate all of you who came out to the show. We had wonderful wheather for the show although it did rain about 4:00 O'Clock Sunday afternoon for a little while. It was sunny and in the 80s the rest of the time as you can see in the pics.

I will post some more pictures as soon as we get them downloaded onto the computer and resized.

Looks like a good time! I had to cut back on my travels a bit this year so I couldn't make it.

Moving now that it's over and there are pictures so it doesn't get deleted...
