Here is one I just bought.  It's a 1970 Superbee, 383 matching numbers, 78,000 miles, factory four speed, N96 Ram Charger hood, and burnt orange.

Matching number 383 with Ram Charger.  Gotta love it!

Plated and insured it today.  Ordered bumpers for the front and rear...kinda dull.  Also looking to get a new exhaust system.  It also needs the top dash pad.  I called just dashes and they want my pad and then it takes 12 weeks to finish.  Thats way too long.  Also need a trunk mat.

Good looking car.

Your being a Charger guy, what made you want a '70 Bee?

Just curious, looks like a great purchase.

Is the chrome between the bumpers correct on a Bee, versus a R/T or 500?

I don't know if that chrome is right in the middle.  Does anyone know?  I always liked the Superbee's even the 70's since I have a few 71's.
The cool thing it has a 956 radiator in it.  I thought it was just for Hemi's and 440 six packs, but I think its for 383's with grabber hood.

Here's an interior shot

I acquired the car at the Auburn Auction.  It was in the car corral.  It pulled up on Firday night.  Shana and I were walking around and she spotted it.  She has a 70 Superbee 383 purple so she notices those cars quick.  It was still warm like it just got there.  An hour later when that car got there, he sold it to me.  It has a killer stereo system in it too, but he left the stock one in.

i thought super bees were general lee strippos...

chrisII

I believe that the chrome was there on all 70s, at least on the one I had there was actually a piece of tin that covered the chrome and was painted body color. so in theory you could pull that piece off and have the chrome center on anything with that bumper..why did I throw that out?  :icon_smile_dissapprove:  ::)
