Anyone have pics or diagrams showing how the front bumper brackets attach to the front end of a 69 charger?

This is the only pic I have handy. There are 6 brackets for the front. Two go on each side and bolt to the frame holes and are held togther with the large cross brace. The other two small brakcets attach the ends to the fender bottom.

This pic kinda shows what they should look like installed. I have some more of the frame holes at home if you need them.

1st pic is where the brackets bolt to the frame. You can see the rotisserie uses the same mounting points as I had to wire wheel the area after it got off the rotisserie.

2nd pic is a little better shot from the front showing the brackets.

Looking good!

Is the bumper bolted in? I installed it last as it did not seem like the grill would go in with the bumper installed.

Will remove the bumper to get the grill in, just wanted to get those brackets done since I had no idea how they went in.

they are like a bumper bolt , but have a thicker head & no stainless cap , if that makes sense ,  the Nuts  takes a 3/4 socket  I think  , also  thick washers  maybe a  1/8" thick  , from memory  :scratchchin: &  suitable size E clips

cant find a picture anywhere  , so  altered one off the net  :yesnod:

hope this helps

If originality doesn't matter to you a 1/2"-13 carriage bolt, 1" long (IIRC), will work. Available at any hardware store. That's what I used on my car.

Thank you very much both.
I'll try to find that quickly.

The slot in the bracket is about 1/2 large. Jason is right.
