The 2 jump cars did take some damage but nothing you can't find in the AMD catalog.  I hear both cars got fixed after the shoot.



Modern suspension parts help soften the landings a bit.  Still pretty violent, but not quite as bad as in the 1980s.

And cardboard boxes are actually pretty good at saving cars (or people) when the job is carried out right.  It's not the cardboard, it's the air trapped inside the boxes.

I bet you its more solid and reliable then a hplag car, and will probably sell for less too....

Ouch.  

The unibody will need a few tugs to fix that right.



Plenty of worse cars are getting fixed on this forum every single day, though.
