Convert from manual to power steering - what do I need?

I just picked up a new toy.  It's a 1964 Belvedere that was originally a six cyl, but was converted to a 383/727.  It's a fixer upper, P/O kinda stripped for weekend racing.  Among other things, the steering and suspension is shot, so I'm going to rebuild it.  I was thinking about converting to power steering and was wondering what I'd need.  I figured the list would be:

Steering gear
pump
brackets/pulley/belt
hi pressure hose
return hose
pitman arm  (are these different on power?)

Anything else I'd need?  Are the center links the same?  Also, this is my first early 60's Mopar.  Will all the late 60's B-Body stuff fit?  Are any of these parts hard to find?  I was told you can get most of it from NAPA or O'Reilly.

Shorter steering column , the manual column is longer
I would seriously look at a dual master cylinder too

Thanks Chryco, I am going to go with a dual M/C, maybe even front disks in the future.

So I need a shorter column?  Do you know which years will work?  Finding parts for the earlier Mopars seems to be a little harder that for my 68 Coronet R/T.  Will later columns work?

not sure exactly what length column you will need , I have a 70-71 parts book but not a 64 sorry

I think I have a columm for you. I'll have to look.. It's from a 64' 330, but,,, I cannot remember if it was power or non-power..

Thanks Steve, but I may have got it handled.  I happened to find a pwr column for a 63 Coronet on ebay.  It went for cheap ($36) so I figured I'd give it a shot.  It'll be a few days before I get it so I'll let you know if it doesn't work.

It should work and it's a good thing. The one I have is also NON-POWER.. I am still debating on power or not. My 65' has it and I don't really like it.. It's just more clutter under the hood.

I kinda debated it too.  I like less clutter, weight and power drag, but I live in a house with a rear alley and my neighbor behind me built his fence out so close to the lane that it's tough getting in or out without cranking the wheel lock to lock.  It's a pain w/no power.  My 68 Coronet has power and it's so much nicer.  Plus living in the city with all the close parking places and all.
