About to hang my 73's door back up, Should I install door seal first?

I'm about to temporarily hang my door back up on the passenger side. I jammed it, and installed all the internal components, besides the door lock cylinder, and door handle, and glass. Should I put on the new door seal before I hang the door up or after? I also do not have any of the door bumpers. Is it ok to leave those off until I can get some?
