It was/is promotional stunt by the folks at Caesars Palace where they are ripping through the streets of Vegas to promote their newest show.  With the Celine Dion show closing they are starting a four year run of "Duke Boys - The Musical".  The show will utilize the stage at the Forum where Celine's show was.  The backdrops have been touted as "the most spectacular ever" with paper mache replicas of the General Lee flying on wires above the stage and over the audience.  The music will be a mix of country and western and big band classics from the '40's.  Tickets are $140.00, $85.00 and $50.00.
