Gents and gals, I was looking for suggestions on why my gauge/instrument cluster lighting does not work. The interior dome light and courtesy lights work - no problem. The ignition light works fine too. Turning signal, headlights, brake lights all work, including hazzard lights. Check the fuses - all fine. Cleaned all fuse connections - all fine. The ground under the steering column has good contact. Any suggestion and/or recommendations/trouble shoot ideas? The Charger has the light package from factory. Thanks, mike.

It's most likely the panel dimmer switch.

Could also be a loose terminal on the printed circuit board.

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

I temporarily jumped it to the taillights at the body wiring plug under kick panel, until I get a new switch. Easy to check, test voltage at the 3 way socket where the heater/ac control light plugs in. (you can always plug into this socket too, unless its full with the light group package)

Mike, I traced the instrument panel lights wire to the same fuse that connects to the center prong of your panal lamp dimmer switch, 69 wiring diagram. The only reason for the center prong is for the instrument lights.  You may need to remove cluster, clean prong, replace switch? check connection?

Good luck
