thanks tom...  got some more stuff to do though.  I have just recently redid the engine wiring harness'.  I need to fabricate some radiator brackets, but it is just doing one thing at a time if you know what I mean.

lol, good eyes... overspray from the paint job, will be removed when I determine it a priority to do so :D

this car is mainly a drag car that will see mild street usage.  Cosmetics are somewhat important, hauling a$$ is mega important.  So you can see where my priorities lie :D

yep, the vehicle will see some street use also.  I do not want to remove it in case I want to hit a car show or something in october and its cool outside.  It is not hurting anything by sittin in there.

i noticed the 71-up passenger side exit waterpump housing and the offset upper water neck(as most later rb-b engines were equipped with a/c) so the water neck was moved over to clear the compressor and brackets.looks like that engine came from an a/c equipped car, with the short alternator brackets too. lookin good so far, gonna be a nice RR........... :icon_smile_big:
how'd i do that!?!?!?

Nice RD!! It's amazing how different shades of the turquise paint comes in for the 68 engines. Mine was much lighter and greener! Looks good shoot some pic's of the whole body, would like to see it.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

i wonder if that is an optical illusion too, from the angle of the picture.  if you look at the height of the valve cover in relation to the brake booster, I thought it was a normal height.  are second gens different?
67 Plymouth Barracuda, 69 Plymouth Barracuda, 73 Charger SE, 75 D100, 80 Sno-Commander

4402tuff4u

No, it's right! It's just that the engine is missing all the accessories. The top of the valve cover at the rear by the brake booster should be about in the middle of the circular unit. You can see the other post under engine section "Weiand Manifolds" and you'll see that it's pretty close. Optical illusion................. :scope:
