Charger A/C conversion to sanden 508 compressor?

I installed a Sanden 508 compressor and converted the system to R-134.  The EPR valve was removed with the stock compressor.  I still have the thermostatic expansion valve in the system and everything is the same except for the addition of new hoses and fittings.  Is there anything I am overlooking?  Can I use the existing components with the sanden compressor?

Thanks for reading.

I've heard varying opinions but some claim that when the EPR valve is removed you need to install a thermal switch to control the compressor.

The thermal switch has a probe that goes in the fins of the evaporator and cycles the compressor clutch when the evaporator core nears freezing.

Thanks for the info.  This is a response I recieved later today that sounds resonable from:

In Arizona we used to remove the EPR valves from tge RV2 because when it was really hot it didn't really matter. You should be fine. It is the TXV that really is necessary. If you have any evap freeze-up problems let us know. Seeya.

My only EPR valve experience is with R-12 freon. I accidently installed an RV-2 compressor without an EPR (it was from a C body with Auto-Temp) on my '70 Charger and it froze up big time at mild outside temps.
