I was searching a thread mine about wanted parts to 74 tonight and didn't find it... I don't know the rest, but was that section cleaned up of old stuff ?

Yes, probably. Most all classified ads are automatically deleted 2 months after the last post. eBay ads are deleted after 2 weeks.
