Legendary seat material - Are my eyes shot???

I just received new seats from Legendary for my 1970 Charger. As soon as I pulled them from the box I thought something wasn't right. They are replacments for my original charcoals with salt & pepper (black & white) cloth inserts. The cloth inserts appears to be black and silver. They look black and silver under any lighting. I placed them next to my originals and they still look that way. Is it because they are new and my originals are "weathered"? Is it an optical illusion from a tight B&W checkerboard design? Take a look at the pictures below and you tell me. Has anyone else purchased this style seat from Legendary and if so how did yours look. I'd like some opinions before I call Legendary and start asking questions.

Why is it that I have to reduce the size of my files to postage stamp size in order for it to be accpeted? I see other BIG pictures posted here. What are they doing i'm not? HUH????

Christ your eyes are worse than mine if you think that's houndstooth. Albeit the pictures I provided suck but please. Infact to my knowledge the 71 Cudas had that option and not the Challengers. The Challengers recieved the salt & pepper inserts as well. So Challenger guys what's your take?

BTW, most of the larger pics you see here are inserted by using the image option and then using the url from a photo hosting site.

Yup, thats what I received for my C5XA Charger.  It has the same difference in overall tone as your do.  Not quite sure what to do about it.  My interior was shot so I really didnt have much of a choice.  Im just glad to have the seats done and have a place to sit!
