Its way about time Bill Ford let somebody else try to run Ford Motor Company. Yes I know his Fathers all did so it was only right that he try but 44 years old was too young and all he did was do what GM was doing -making lots of big pick up trucks- what was not the greatest idea.

Maybe IF it comes back 15-20 years from now he could try again but he should just keep out of the way now. Fords in bad shape, they have almost most nothing new coming out soon and many other problems. He should have step asideĀ  2-3 years ago.

I noticed that he did not find some 44 year old to replace him. I think this guy is 61 years old and turned Boeing around so hes has a good track record.

I work for Boeing Commercial

Alan is definately a dreamer so you never know what might come out of this.

I was actually pretty sad to see him leave Boeing. He was a pretty good guy that always seemed to try to make the correct choices in running business here at Boeing and he contributed to making the employee's feel important to the sucess of the company. Sign of a good leader unlike some weve had here.

Well not everybody is cut out to be a leader or CEO. I know I would not make a good CEO ,I could not cut costs by firing thousands of employees.
