Their are some things in the news lately that are beyond our individual ability to influence. ---So---

I sense a need to do something that is in our control. :icon_smile_wink:

It has been said that "everyone complains about the weather but no one does anything about it". :nana:

I propose that we drive our cars/ exhale/ fart and anything else we can to increase the global temperature.  :icon_smile_wink:  The positives are huge for a world that is warmer then the one we live in.

Example--the northern Continent of Asia could become a new bread basket for the world. Tropical Antarctica sounds nice to me. :shruggy:

If we can get together internationally to work on a task (sorta like as we type) surly something good could come from it?

If irrational random killings around the world are too tough to handle perhaps we can at least see a positive light shine from the current conference on global warming.  Or at least how to improve on warming for the greater good of all. :shruggy:

:popcrn: sounds interesting.  If, and I'm not saying I'll commit to participating in this but if I did would there be free hot dogs and drinks?  And is it open carry?   :shruggy: :nana:

The task may mean huge sacrifices and effort.  The deposits of carbon in the ground will need to be exposed at a rate that would boggle the mind. :slap: But a daunting task has always been one that get us off the pot. :nana:

eat more eggs & beans

We all can do our part in any (however small) way we have. Every fart (even old ones :icon_smile_wink:)helps for the cause.

I'll agree.  Shall we make it mandatory for every vehicle to do a burnout at every intersection? Diesels would get extra credit for blowing coal.

The height of sea level change is as inflated as the propositions about our influence.
But hey--change is change :shruggy:  Plenty of time to move to higher ground for those that live by the sea.

BTW if we can raise the temp. of the world that would raise the level of the sea--then surly we can build a channel to drain the extra water off the edge. :shruggy:   Easy peezy :nana:

Just learned the CIA is funding climate-related research  :o  Makes sense though.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
