I've never taken these off before and I want to know if it is as simple as unscrewing the 2 visible philips head screws or is there more inside the door that I will need to get to?

mopar_madman

yes just the two screws will remove the mirror, but if its a remote you will have two clips inside the door holding the remote wire away from the window tracks. The passenger will come right off.

racing ones ?

passnger side, yes, is just that.

drivers side needs to remove joystick nut, upper panel, washer retainer, 2 wire clips along the door AND THEN, UNSCREW it.

clips stuff are vissible and easy to loose with plyers from exterior of door

The top part of my driver side mirror woobles alittle. The base however is attached firmly to the door. Is there a screrw inside the mirror to tighten it to the base?

Nacho-RT74

yes... once you remove you will be able to see it and tight... they are two phillips screws.
