Well I stalked the site for a long time now I'll actually introduce myself. My name is Lewis, 30 and I live in Omaha, NE. No, I don't have a Charger. Someday but until then I'll have to live through the members here. My screen name is for my 71 Nova. I've had it since '91. I am the 2nd owner. I don't have any good stories to tell so I'll just chime in on posts where I have something to add. Here's some links to my Nova. I'll also give some of dads Chevelle. It is a 67, factory L79 (327-325hp) triple black 4 speed car.

I'm actually persuing a 1 owner 70 Barracuda. I had to pull some strings to run the VIN and find the last owner. It is sitting outside in a storage lot. It is original, unrestored. Factory Plum Carzy, white top and white interior. It has a 383, 727, buckets and console and Go-Wing. The car has been sitting for a LONG time. I've talked to the owners brother but the owner is tough to get ahold of. I'm trying not to get too excited about this.

Good luck on the Cuda. Let us know how you make out..  Oh and welcome............ :yesnod:

Left another message but that hasn't gotten me anywhere in the past. If nothing else I'd like to meet the guy and get the story of the car. It makes my stomach turn to see it sitting there on 4 flats.

Rockport MO, that's not far at all. 1.5 hours, nah, my record is 50 minutes. We used to go there every year to get fireworks for the 4th of July.

Did you get the Charger? What's the scoop on it if you don't mind me asking. There was a 69 with a 383 2bbl in the paper this weekend for 15k. I didn't call, too rich for me. I did see a purple 69 on a flatbed last weekend. I've never seen it before so I wonder where it was going. It was 5 blocks from my house when I saw it.
