A friend of mine is having problems with gas on its 73, 400.

everytime he gets fully throttle on a highway, cars enginme just dies some seconds later. It looks to be Gas is not arriving on those moments. Gas Pump is almost new same as push rod.

your thoughts please.

probably need more info. How old is his fuel line, maybe its clogged.

Is the stock and original from factory fuel line. We have thought maybe the pushjrod cam at camshaft.

he hasn't had that problem since long time ago, Is not the fist time.

could definatyl be a worn pump pushrod or owrn cam lobe too where the pushrod rides on the cam , or a bad fuel pump or if the fuel filter is before the pump so fuel is sucked Not pushed through the filter you can have a problem too
