Drdodge340, get over it! its a opinion, and its my opinion if your gonna get upset over everyone who you dont agree with then maybe this isnt the place for you. There are many people with different opinions and i know im not the only one who doesnt like the aussie chargers. Its just as well you dont own a new charger, if you saw the comments from alot of the members here you'd probably have a nervous breakdown. For me, i dont like them because i think they look ugly, i dont like the 6 cylinder bs, and i dont like the fact the name "charger" is used on it. (abit like how many here dont like the fact the new charger is called a charger despite the fact it has four doors) I dont want to get too far off topic here, but to me a mopar muscle car is: american, v8, 2 door and rear wheel drive. personally, id rather have a 69 camaro. i could talk to you for hours about your 71 bee, but your other 2 just dont do it for me. Everyone has a favourite and least favourite my least favourite happens to be the aussie charger. There are other reason's but im not going to go into them here (that's a whole different story) and btw, welcome to the site

LOL....... :2thumbs:

Why mince words....say what you really think

AH HA!!!!!!!!!!! I knew it!

I'm not getting my knickers in a knot been a reg on moparts for a while and i'm a mod a valiant.org been there done that. i'm trying to decide if i should go at the 71 bee or do my 76 feather duster that's why i'm more than lurking here. The duster is a very complete southen car that needs some work but I have a parts car and lots of duster stuff stashed away(some nos),

The bee is a different story Needs most everything.I have only a 73 ralley for a parts car.If I can score something in a 71 parts car over the winter I may go ahead with the bee project..if not the duster makes the most sense.

The bee is butterscotch 383 d21 c16 n96.........I looked for an l5 / d21/n96 combo for years and this one sorta found me!

Does anyone know if or has anyone ever seen and Australian Charger in the United States?

Please post some pics - because I think it is such a great look for a Charger - and I wish more were rolling around in the US.

There are actually several of them over here, One was in the Museum at Talladega for several years until it qualified as an antique and he could start driving it. It is pretty much Bahama Yellow. I've seen at least two different ones, and I believe a couple more (possible it was the same car, just cleaned up and spruced up some)

Here is my non-US Mopar Dream List: (rank changes due to mood, most recent pictures looked at, outside temperature, alignment of heavenly bodies, etc)

1) Australian Charger R/T E49
2) Argentine Polara R/T small block
3) Argentine Polara R/T 6 cylinder
4) Australian Charger R/T small block
5) Brazilian Charger (Dart) R/T
6) Argentine GTX
Do I have the last, operational Popcar Spacemobile?
