Not that I'll be picking one up any time soon considering the $695,000.00 USD starting price. :D

But 0-60 mph in 3.1 secs and an est. top speed of 260 mph ain't cheap. :nana:

I'd say you'd see the front in the rearview for about 4.2 seconds ( up to 1.5 miles away), the side profile for about 0.3 seconds and the rear view for the same 4.2 seconds. So they concentrated on the views most would see. ;D

Just kidding. I'd more wager most will be stored as paper weights in air conditioned vaults or demenaed by taken their owners to the country club at 30 miles an hour tops. The factory will ensure a few will find themselves in the correct hands to keep the buzz alive.
Although the mechanics...errr technicians for them will be estatic doing the warranty mandated "carbon removal tune up" ever few thousand miles.

My thoughts exactly, looks like a hi-tech roller skate from the side.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I'll wait till somenone makes a kit car out of that body and I can toss it on a C5 vette chassis.  at least it will look cool.

Personally I would rather have a Ferarri except I don't think I would pass the test to own one.

Anyone else hear this? You accuatlly have to pass a test and an interview before owning any of the new Ferarris!

I think that's only for the very high end, limited production (not that all Ferraris aren't that anyway) cars like the Enzos and Scagliettis.

Couldn't pass the test to own a car? Come on, you can read and write can't you. And you have that many 0000's in your checking account. Then you can pass the test. :)

Its not a bad looking car, but it appears squished from the side angle. Maybe its the photograph, nope its not. But impressive figures for performance.

It was on the Discovery channel about owning some of the new handmade Ferraris and such. Yes the first test was if you could accually afford the car, but other tests were if you could pay for the upkeep and parts, if you could handle the car at high speeds, you weren't allowed to have any speeding or dangerous driving tickets, etc.

Just build one of these for a tenth of the price http://www.sd-concepts.com/sdce_cars/SDCE_challenger.htm?zenid=ee3b814db07aec51e9f93e5d4b3878f5 Then when you pull up next to one in traffic you can leave them behind feeling like they just wasted a lot of money. :icon_smile_big:
