Just wondering.  I am a huge fan of the show. I hope the movie doesn't stink! I hope it isn't a BIG dissapointment like the Dukes of Hazzard movie was.

That's the only Trans AM I have ever loved!

This is the first I've heard of it. My opinion??---> Yeesh. Do they seriously need to remake every corny old tv show?? ::)
I think they should remake The Rockford Files. :yesnod:

BTW, this Trans Am is better that that one.  :icon_smile_tongue:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Here's a pic of it with one of the few Chargers also in, "McQ":

IIRC this scene is from the part when the Duke was chasing the badies who were escaping in a laundry truck.

I LOVE the movie Mc Q! To bad the T/A gets destroyed. This movie is the movie that made me love Firebirds. I'd love to have a '71-'73 like that :yesnod:

You know the 455 didn't come out till 1970, unless you just want one with that motor.

Exactly. The 400 was the T/A motor in 1969. And yes the 1969 was the best year for the T/A, followed by the tuff 1970 version. The 1973 SD455 was a tuff item also. Little work and they'd embarass most cars. Last hurrah for the Poncho engineers.

does anyone else remember the knight rider 2000 movie?  Devin dies, and kitt's brain ends up in a 57 chevy at some point.  He gets transplanted back into the t/a at the end.....

I loved that show when it was new, and I was a kid, but try to watch it now?  un watchable!!  the worst acting on the face of the earth.

I would hope that this remake would be better....

Dukes of Hazzard:
Personally I like the remakes of the old movies takes us back to great times Except the Remake on the Dukes of Hazzard. Now that had some great stunts but the Actors should have stayed the same as the series as an Anniversary Edition or to continue the series. Why? Look at all the years went past, some of the actors past away..
I think old movie remakes are cool. Look at the legend the films leave behind. Alot of car Replicas are out there now! Especially The Amazing General Lee replicas, Smokey & the Bandit Car, Knight Rider, Starsky & Hutch Keeps the old muscle cars alive and worth $$$$$$$$$$$   For instance look at the General Lee replicas, They are holding their values and soaring to the top in prices..  But although those Good ol' Boys were fighting the system can't forget that they gave to charities also. So this show gives you some Down home American Values other being the Flashy Orange Attention Getter...
Also I am sure everyone has heard of "Bucky" Phillips in New York State. Maybe they Should use the General Lee To out run this guy? The Reward for conviction right now is the highest I ever seen, $225,000.00 For the capture & conviction of this guy...  It's kind of scary, Over 40 State police Vehicles and 100 men going to search for 1 man. Now does this sound Sensible? Thats tax dollars at work.  LOL!!!!
