Somebody had a new timing cover for a small bock and wanted $20 + $25 to ship it did not sell. The next week the re listed item with the same $25 shipping cost went for over $80 ! Go try to figure that out.

With the prices they way they have been the last few years, some guys are throwing out outrageous out to see if anyone bites. If it was you selling and you tossed out that price and it sold, you'd be on cloud nine - and laughing all the way to the bank.
Like the blind guy selling pencils for $1 million each. Not gonna sell many. Only gotta sell one. So some guy got a piece and asks a fortune. He gets it. Now precedent is set and as long as others line up that now becomes the going price. And if there is sufficient others to pay the huge price, the hobby slips one step further away from the average guy.
You think Hemicudas are really[/b] worth $1-$4 million?? A handful that can afford it keep them there. Nothing better to throw their money onto.

It is pretty crazy. I have seen several sell in the $250-$400 recently. Looking into the high bidders feedback he bought another for over a grand. I just sold a nice one I had with the complete underdash wiring and tach harness for $500. I think that is probably a little more realistic for the regular guy. It appears that wood grain part is from a 73 or 74 on the Ebay one which would not have come with the 150 speedo if I'm not mistaken. Guess they probably just put a different face on it. Still just seems outrageous and stupid. The funny thing is the opening bid was low and I don't think there was a reserve. Some people have too much money. Not like they are rare pieces.

The fact that the radio area of the metal frame is not cut up I am sure it helped drive the price up. But other then that, I got my same tac dash bezel for under $200. on Ebay. Thats just STUPID!

I paid for mine 150 miles ( 71 ) with clock $150 PERRRRRRRRRRFEEECCTT CONDITIONS. also with heater controls

but there is something weird on it... is a 73/74 cluster with switch icons and 73/74 AC control... and 150 miles ?

maybe is an earlier production one. I think is possible.

Ok, after check it I can say THAT cluster have been probably assemblied by seller... nothing wrong about that anyway.

wiper switch is also 71 one, is only year model. This specific one is variable speed kind.
