As someone said, 66-67 chargers had the cool interior.... but GUESS WHAT? You can put 4 bucket seats and get the gauges made up for a 2nd gen charger to. THEN You would have something interesting (might do that to mine....)

As a guy who has "been there, done that", I don't recommend it. Dropping all that cool '66 stuff into a second gen is not as easy as one might imagine. And I haven't even started on the dashboard yet...

Dont wanna high jack thread, got pic of he 4 buckets in 2nd gen... (few pics, inside and slightly from utside) to get a feel for look of car with the buckets inside... I wouldnt do the dash, would get custom gauges built if anything.

How are you, Ignacio? Yes, it has been a long time. I couldn't even tell you the last time I signed in to chat. Thanks for the plug, as well. Nice to know not everyone hates me...

I don't get much of anything built for me. If I can't build it myself or modify it to fit the way I want it, I forget about it. I can't afford to pay for custom work. I live on less money per year than a lot of people write a check for to pay the body shop.

I personally dont like 66-67 chargers... a fast back charger... i dunno what Chrysler was thinking, it aint a mustang!

But for the rarity and "interesting look" as it looks very unique...

Go for it.  :2thumbs:

:iagree:  The guages are super cool as is the 2+2 seating but the exterior is "interesting"

First gens were my first love, then I bought a 69 so I started liking the second gens too. My wife likes first gens most of all. Watta ya do.  :shruggy:

Khyron

I got my 06 Shot, so I'm good  :nana:

I always liked the 1st gens, Loved the 2nd Gens... obviously, it's the 3rd Gens that I have a recent interest in, all because of this site. Before I started here I never gave them a second look, but the more I see what members here have done with them, the more I appreciate them.

Now my 66 dart, that took some getting used too ;)

Yep, don't try to fight it...there is no known cure.

Yes there is a cure. All you need is the '06 vaccine and the disease will not spread beyond 1974.

Wrong, I tried that vaccine as have several of us here. It does not work and it creates the opposite effect. Apparently it only makes the Charger fever worse and next thing you know, it has you going all out crazy like in the movie, "28 day's Later" and you find yourself wanting to buy both the old and new Chargers.... This of course does not effect everyone but I for one am happy it did.

Like some of the other members have stated, coolest interior ever.  Electroluminescent guages rocked.  Wish I had never gotten rid of this one.
