I didn't need it yet, but for the price, I couldn't pass it up.

That seems like a pretty good price....

Congrats. Now all that you need is the mounting kit. FPAP has them and I think Year One still sells them. Just don't try to mount it without the kit. Closing the deck lid without the reinforcements will damage the lid due to the weight of the wing.

basically the truth. Its a generic aftermarke spoiler that resembles a 70 go wing. 71 is quite different.. It may have mounting hardware but that doesnt mean it has good mounting hardware to include reinforcement brackets for the underside of the decklid. I bought one for a 71 a few years ago and wasnt very happy with it.

hotrod98

I seriously doubt that you will get the under deck lid mounting hardware kit, but you might. There are several different styles and they don't interchange between all e and b body cars. That wing is a pretty decent piece, but not an exact reproduction. I used one of them on my wife's 70 challenger convertible. The exact repro is around $350 to $400.

I really dont care about it being exact long as it looks good. I'm making it the way I want anyway as '72 S.E. Chargers aren't exactly the hottest thing out there. Hell, when done, it will have a front spoiler, power bulge hood and R/T tail lights in it.
