We've checked some numbers on the girl's charger; We've looked up the engine- and trannynumbers but can't make up a lot..
maybe one of you can help:
Engine: code 2468130 * 8 ( or a B )  prod. date 14th of March 1969, Dayshift, 15.00 o'clock. Is it possible to find out if this is a genuine 4-barrel engine on these numbers?

Tranny: a lot of numbers on the tranny: PK 289203 1 K 2364 6826

Thanks for any information!

2468130 is the block casting number for 59-71 383's. It doesn't tell you anything about the internals or what else came in/on the block so you can't determine 4bbl applications from this number.

2892031-is the part number for a 68 transmssion. White books shows this to be for a A, B or C body 383-4bbl/late style

2364- is the tranny assembly date in 10K day calendar form. This equates to Jan 17th of 68.

Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.
