Anyone own a US General jack? Is this capacity enough for a Charger?

I sold my old Sears floor jack and have been keeping an eye on this US General (Harbor Freight special) for quite some time. They keep edging the price down lower and lower and now I see in their ad it's down to $79.99. It has a 3000 lbs capacity and I'm wondering if that's enough? Does anyone here own one? Is it worth a damn?

3,000 pounds is more than enough, considering that you'll only be picking up a corner or possibly half of the car at any given time with the jack.  That sounds like a good deal...

Well, the advertising achieved it's goal by getting me into the store where I promptly decided to buy the $150 jack instead of the $80 jack. The smaller one looked ok but I think its size and low weight would be a disadvantage. I need one with a wide stance that will reach way under a Charger to jack up the rear end and the smaller one looked like you could almost flip it over upside down just by tightening the handle. This 2-ton jack seems like a pretty good unit overall.

My buddy has that, not a bad jack as it's really light, but has a very long pull.  Its worth getting the jack that uses three pumps.

I use a Lincoln.I also have a Craftsman which isn't bad. When it comes to tools,it's worth it to spend the extra cash.
