I go to Chicago a few times a year and although I can't offer much along the lines of car activities I can point you to some really nice restaurants.

I'll be in the office tommorow and I'll offer some suggestions.

Go to Stanleys on Lincoln and Armitage for Chicken and Garlic Potatoes.
Go to the Clark bar to see the huge picture on the wall of the St. Valentines day massacre.

Go to the corner of Grand and Spaulding and see the old Mr. Norm's dealership.  Having done that myself, I can tell you don't go at night and be prepared for the fact that it is a little run down.

I can say that I have eaten at many places and this one is the best steak in the country. Their specialty is a 24oz rib steak (bone in rib eye) that is slow cooked all day (prime rib) and then just prior to serving it they char it over the open flame grille. Instead of appetizers, have some crab legs with the meal. They crack them open for you and are simple to eat and cooked perfectly.

I always sit in the downstairs bar. The atmosphere is great and with the piano playing, you have a fantastic meal.

I have been many times, one week myself and my associates ate there three nights over the course of 5 days. That's how good it is.

After dinner, stroll down the street to the Red Head Piano bar to hear the dueling pianos, sing with the crowd and enjoy a fine cigar.

Chicago - my kinda town!

LMAO!  You can see some of the most beautiful restored cars in the world there by true professionals.  ;)

I love Chicago...live about three hours from there and try to visit at least once a year--I typically go in the winter for I ice skate up there.

House of Blues is fantastic (I stay at the hotel there when I visit, but the rest. is pretty cool).  I also like Rainforest Cafe even though it is loud.  I think I am drawn to both places as I used to live in Orlando and it reminds me of there.  I am weird.

I also like Hard Rock...go to Navy's Pier too.
I love my 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Clone

Go to Frank Lloyd Wrights house.
Go on the Gangster tour.
Go to a cubs game.
Go to the bars on Halsted just north of Belmont.  Shirts are optional.   ;D
Go to the Brew and View just south of Belmont and just West of Clark.
Go to the Burrito house on Lincoln and Addison at 4:00am when you are starving.. :icon_smile_big:
