68 R/T question

Hey every body, checking out some e bay stuff and came across a 68 r/t. Looking at the pics, noticed that this is a column shift car. Were there any of these made? Mine is not an r/t and is a column shift as well. Didnt know if this was an option or special order or what.

Yeah, R/T's were made with the column shift.

And I don't think it was an option. I think that the console/floor shift was an option, and the column shift was standard.

plenty of R/T's made column shift. definitely less common than auto on the floor on an R/T, and less common that your run of the mill 318 cars where i'm sure the % on column was more... but there still were a lot produced

                     :iagree:   :yesnod: all  automatics were column shift as standard , unless you ordered a centre console .
