69 Charger SE

I was wondering what the start date was for the 69 Chargers.  My dad bought this one off the show room floor back in Sept of 1968.  The production date on the fender tag is Aug 29, 1968 and the sequence number is 116918.

August 1 (801) seems to be the earliest Scheduled Production Date listed on tags.

The earliest tag info I have on a 69 Charger was built on 7/28/68   

Its # 100039  This car is reported to be the pilot or show Charger you see in the ads (R6 red black top car)   This car was recently for sale.
The second oldest I have info on was built 8/1
