I believe my front factory disc brakes are dragging excessively. I have replaced the...

master cylinder
wheel bearings
rotors
calipers
brake hoses
pads
brake hardware

I double-checked the wheel bearings and they are not too tight.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Have you had the proportioning vavle replaced?  You might have some rust in there that is letting the fluid through but not back.

I actually went to the parts store on Friday to see if I could get one. They said they couldn't get them so I will be looking for one of those.

You might have to send yours out to be rebuilt.  Pick up a hemmings motor news mag and there are a ton of people in there that are reputable that rebuilds brake items such as proportining and metering valves.

They are one of the most difficult parts to find for our old Bendix systems.  It will be easier to find a rebuilder as mentioned or replace it with one of the MP adjustable ones.

What Master cyl did you use ? the drum brake cylnders have a residual pressure valve in them to keep drum brakes from allowing air into the system
even if it is a disc master the residual pressure valve could be installed by mistake
