  There was another pic here of this, but I had to take a pic of Mike's brand new  472 Hemi also,  dang man, this thing was nice.    300 miles on it he said, driving it from Portland to Seattle pretty much, heh, that is getting prepared for a show IMO. 

I like this one way more than that customized one. Plum Crazy Purple just plain rocks!

Chargers (especially hemi charger) are just damn cool as is. They don't need custimization.

His car was away from most all the Chargers because he got put in the Hemi section,      but here is a pic from last year's D-C.com meet, before the new Hemi got put in that is pictured above.

Ah crap, sorry Chris!  Honestly, I didn't look at hardly any of the cars.  Thanks Barry!!!   The hills were just too much for me.  If it's flat, I can wheel all day long.  I made the swap meet, but it was way more manageable.  I could have brought my handles so my buddies could help push me, but that means I would have had to swallow my pride.  I start getting steroid treatments for the protruding disc in my back that they finally found.  I'm gonna start working out again, only it will be just my upper body.  I talked to Barry B. about which muscles to work.     If I'm lucky enuf to get some bulk, I'll tear those hills up next year!

Lizard, even tho it's not entirely directed towards me, I'm flattered.   Remember me crying about the rain a few months back and how I'd never drive my car in the rain up there anymore?  I wanted to come up for the Charger Anniversary and park by my Charger buddies.  Instead it rained from Portland to north of Longview and then pretty much all the way home.   And to top it off, I had to park by all the primadonna Hemi owners.      jk.  Hemi Jack was a real pleasure talking to.  Maybe one of these days a "few" other Seattle gearheads will decide to talk to me.

SCD, a pleasure to get to talk to you outside of here again.  I took zero pix of my car and it seems I can always count on you and Dan.  You bailed me out at the Charger Meet too, thanks.  If you don't have your rig there this year and wanna do the cruise afterwards again, I should have a empty seat.  I'll see if I can give you whiplash.  Saturday, my daughter told me I hurt head when I nailed it one time, hehe.

It wasn't long ago that peeps didn't like the big wheel, rubber band tire look.  Now it seems to be a hit?   That car will be a tough act to follow.

Hey, that black and silver 69 Charger I got to fire up!  The owner is a really good family friend.  He was so lucky to win that car...I'm jealous.  I tried to get him to give it to me, but yeah...not gonna happen.  I'll get to drive it every now and then though!  Maybe even drag race it!

Sweet cars. I like the black and silver Charger. It's different for sure and glad you got to sit in it and start it up. He got lucky with winning that car for sure. I'm jealous too but, what can you do other than to hope you'll win the lottery or a Viper.

O.K. so noone knows how or why or from whom he won that charger?..
  It burns my ass i spent a fortune and nearly two decades bringing mine back from the crusher and this guy gets handed the keys to a done car...

I heard that he won it from a bottle cap on a pop or something, but don't know for sure if that is how he won it, harsh, huh.

He won the Charger through a contest from the company he works for.  He, along with 5 others, won a trip to Las Vegas (where the car was being shown) and also handed a key...Only one of the keys started the car and he was the first one to go up and try his key and it fired right up!  I am very happy for him and his family.  He deserves it as much as anyone here.

I wanted to talk to him, I was done taking most of the pictures at 11:30, went to the car and he was
talking to two other people, I waited 5-10min and they were still talking, I took off for the ''swap meet''
and never saw him again

  At least he brought it to the show, you know, getting into the Mopar enthusiast thing, driving the car, keeping it looking nice, taking care of it, shows he cares about the car and likes it, and likes Mopars.   If I saw a tricked out Charger as a prize, and walked up and filled out an entry form thing, I would really hope to win the car, and if I did, I would take the car, now I realize I would take crap for it, who wouldn't want to win that car?      
     If I won the lotto, and bought a Charger, that would be similar I guess.  But that's what I would do.  Winning the lotto or awesome prizes probably has down sides.

i guess it's my problem, not his.. i should be happy for him.
if he appreciates it more power to him, at least he aint sellin it on e-bay to buy a Ravfour...

Here's the point you're missing Harvey. Even though it's somewhat bling, bling it's still a 69 Charger and a pretty nice looking one at that. Heck, I don't have any problems driving it.

  I sincerly hope he shows up here so we can welcome him to the eternal brotherhood of whatever the heck we are...   
  If he didn't like Chargers or Mopars before, you know he sure as heck does now.

As for driving the car, who said I would actually get to drive it? All I'm saying is that I would drive if I owned it. As for sticking a fork in it, that's funny.
