Could someone give me the number for the proper set of matched belts to fit the A/C on a '68 Charger with a 440 engine.  Mine came with a set of belts with the following numbers:  7650XL....10A1650.  These belts appear to be too long because when installed new they are at the end of the adjustment slot, so they can't be tightened any further.   Thanks for your help....Brian

I still have a New set hanging in the shop, they are NAPA 7590 which if I remember correctly are a little shorter than yours. If you need them, let me know. good luck.

Hi,

Just got a matched set of the 7590 belts you recommended, but they were way too short.  It looks like I need a 7630 or possibly a 7620 at the shortest.  Maybe some of the mounting brackets on my car aren't stock?  Anyway, I'll order another set tomorrow and I'll let you know how they fit, after I get them next week...Brian

I just installed the XL7630 belts and they fit OK, however the next set I buy will be XL7640, which should center in the adjustment slide better.
