B and E bodies A/C boxes

Are they the same ? I know not the ducts or control, but the fiberglass box ?... On my Mopar parts dealers catalog IT LOOKS to be the same by PN. Diagrams are verey generic and referencial, not close.

Of course if box is the same, inner cores are also the same.

A friend of mine with a 70 Cuda is trying to get back to "stock" ( even with stroked engine ) but when he found his cuda had missed several parts. He thought was without A/C, but decoded Fender tag and it looks was with A/C assembly.

Is a nice Cuda, with Rallye dash

E bodies were not assemblied down here,. just a few imported ( just have known about 10 different E bodies ), but since B bodies were assemblied and in fact they are still on streets is easier to find a B body on a junkyard and remove the A/C stuff

wondering why my 74 catalog states same PN for the boxes for both models then...

shame diagrams are very generic for both models

well I assembled a 71 GTX heater box yesterday & it si definatly different from the E body

Is E bodies similar to some body ? or is just E body exclusivity ? maybe similar to A bodies ?
