trunk extension panel help

G'day.

I own a 69 Charger. When I purchased the car it came with 2 new trunk extension panels from yearone (still boxed).

Am getting a lot of the panel work done on the car and will be seeing the guy doing the work over the weekend.

Has anyone got any pics/diagrams or suggestions on how to install these as we both have no idea. I live in New Zealand so my repair man has never worked on one of these cars.

No worries, altough the fit is not 100% it is easily adjusted. The trunk extension is like a puzzle piece. If you look at it from the side, the top has a slight bend in it which fits with the bend in the trunk floor itself.The underside will fit into the bottom edge of the quarter panel.You can place it wrong really, just take your time trimming and adjusting the extension until you have a nice fit.
