I picked up a 68 Coronet 500 to keep my Charger company.  I'm thinking about an R/T or Superbee clone.  What do you think?
Should I make it B5 with white top and interior?

I got it for $2,600.  No motor or tranny, but thats OK because I have a rebuilt 440 with under 1,000 miles on it just waiting to go in.  The interior is shot, but I was thinking about changing it to white anyway.  The car is really solid, the trunk was replaced with a flat sheet, and it has a fuel cell in it now.

i like it. b5 blue with a white interior is killer. good luck

I like the idea of a 68 Super Bee. That will have some folks scratching their heads...   Since the 'Bee won't have a 500 center divider in the grille, you can even remove that and send it to me... :D

Looking for a CD by  'The Sub-Mersians'  entitled "Raw Love Songs From My Garage To Your Bedroom"

Also, any of the various surf-revival compilation albums this band has contributed to.

Actually if you want to clone it into a bee you have to remove the rear tail panel and switch the taillights, plus remove the side chrome and rear 1/4 call out and plug all the holes, better off leavin it as a 500.Although the R/T share the same tail panel & lights. Nice score :2thumbs:

That looks like my brother's old car...what state did you find it it??

Rocky

Kab, if you want the center dividers they are yours.  They arn't in the best shape and the 500 emblem is busted so I'm taking them off anyway.

I already picked up a decent set of 440/Superbee taillights off ebay for $9 bucks, I'd just need the chrome trim for the conversion.

Hey Rocky, nice find.Chargers are my favorite in the B-bodys,but running along for second are the 68,69 coronet body. While searching for a 69 Charger R/T  in 98 ,I stumbled on this 68 coronet 440 w/22k orig miles and could'nt pass it up.This is an option if you like blue,it is 68 EE1,my charger is B5 with white top and white stripe, and even though I did paint it the original color,as I find on this site that alot of people like it ,but for me it's O.K,and I could think of a couple different other colors that I would  prefer on it.Here are a couple of pics, one with the original rims and tires(removed when it had 13 k miles),and with the magnums from my charger. The car gets alot of compliments on this color, and I would have to say I do like it better than B5 for 69.
