All those pointless hours of watching videos that made no sense at all, but as a teen in the 1980s they were still fun to watch.

I found a site that has some, so enjoy.  :icon_smile_approve: Some work some don't.

http://www.thebestlegaladvice.com

Weird name, but it works. Also use Firefox, I don't know what's up with Explorer.

Start with this one, it was the very first music video that was ever seen on Mtv.

It has to be "my guitar wants to kill your mama"   for those who never seen it Dweezil Zappa -Frank Zappa son- played a long hair pizza delivery man back in the 50's, he was driving a cool 50's Chevy and ran over a dorky look guy , this got him thrown in jail where he played his guitar-kind of like jail house rocks-he also had a crush on some rich folks daughter that he met on his delivery's. Of course the parents hated him and laugh as the police drag him away. While in jail some guard was going to hit him over the head with his night stick , Dweezil Zappa punch him out and threw the guard over the railing. The video ended with some dude sitting behind a DEA desk saying " warning, this could happen to you".

I have on vhs tape and like to get it on dvd but don't trust anybody with it. Think it was show back in the late 80's

I just watched the one that ended it for Billy Squier.

What a great site. . .As a teen in the late 80's, early 90's there is alot of stuff on there I haven't seen in years. I love the hair bands. Nothing like a good rock ballad. . . Thanks for posting it.

IMO that's when MTV was cool...and I don't think it's just because I was a teen then.
I can NOT watch it now. It's nothing but one scene flashing to the next, every .04 seconds...sorta like watching a strobe light for a half hour. :errr:

Well, that & it's nuttin' but rap crap too.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

What do you mean?  MTV doesnt play videos anymore...... :shruggy:  its real world 1 thru 9 repeats.  and i think a half hour show consists of 20 minutes of commercials and 10 minutes of actual show.

Talking about flamer. Watch the Dead or Alive You Spin Me Round video. I was probably 10 or 11 when that video came out. I never made the conection. Hell, it was just last year I realized Uncle Arther from Bewitched was gay. Who knew. ::)

MTV Jumped the Shark when they cancelled Beavis and Butthead and when Road Rules started. Not that Road Rules was a bad show, but from that point on MTV became a teen-reality show network.
