Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

Hey hondo...did you do the work shaving the body and removing the trim?  I've only seen a couple of cars where that has been done.  it is really a great clean look!

1st and 2nd gen owner...

MoPar -- The only way to fly!

Hondo66charger

I took the trim off but i left the body shop do the actually shaving  I"m not a mechanic nor a body guy, I can do some things for myself with cars but mostly I'm juts the bill payer and driver.

I was missing 5 peices of trim overall and the car was gonna look really crappy with the odd peices gone , I spent 14 months searching for the peices i needed to complete it before i made the big decision. It cost a good chunk extra to shave it and reform it  but i think it was worth it in the long run.

Which, I believe was the same reason Dodge decided to go with pinch welds and hide them with the brightwork too.  Expense and time.
Originally, the car was meant to have that smooth look though.
