I found an old book cleaning out an old house.
it says HANDBOOK in english
then it says
utlistun stjornuspadoma

the book is dated 1909

(with some weird looking pronunciation marks above some of the letters)
anyone know what language this is, or what it means??
thanks guys

It's Icelandic, from what I can see útlistun means explication and stjörnus is star, constellation, something that. No idea what padoma is altough it sounds Danish.

Email Bjork, she'll know  ;D

I talked to a friend down the street and:

útlistun: Instruction

stjörnus: Stellar

And he said padoma is Latvian if that helps....
