So, a few days ago I was sleeping at a truckstop just outside Knoxville, Tn. I had just driven from Carlisle, PA and was on my way to Memphis. Jumped in the old sleeper to take my official D.O.T. 10hr Sleep break. About 4 1/2 hrs into that sleep I was shaken from my slumber by that most ugly of sounds.....no, not a mother-in -law, but grinding metal! At first, I thought no, not my truck! But alas, it was. :icon_smile_sad: By the time I jumped out of bed and ripped the privacy curtains open, all I saw was the taillights zooming away from the scene of the crime........the victim ......my drivers side mirror & all the brackets! Damn it!

Well, after all was said & done, $544.77 in parts and labor.  :icon_smile_angry: Some days, it doesn't pay to even get up. :rotz:

Ah yes, the pictures.............

Sorry to hear about your truck man... But you were in Carlisle and you didn't stop to see me in Shippensburg?!?! ;)

That sucks, Man. Geez, that's an expensive mirror! :o
At least it didn't take out the sleeper & other parts of the cab.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I didn't know your crib was in the area! lol :icon_smile_big:  Yea, I was just passin' thru.....hanging out at the Flying J.

Yea, thats about the 4th time in the last 10-12 years that I've been hit.......speaks to the quality of drivers/people who are out on the road operating 80,000 lb missiles. Sometimes, People just Suck. :icon_smile_sad: :icon_smile_dissapprove:

On the upside, The local Freightliner dealer had ALL the parts to fix it & he/she didn't hit me hard enough to bend the door! Take the good where you can get it.  :2thumbs:

Doing a show in Nashville tonight, then next monday & tuesday in Charlotteville, VA & Washington, DC    :patriot:

No , J.B's not guilty this time. :icon_smile_tongue:

Some dim-bulb driving a container truck did it......thats why I couldn't get a truck/trl number off the damn thing! :icon_smile_angry: Yea, thats what I was most afraid of.......damage to the door frame or getting the whole nose ripped off! That would have sucked out loud! :icon_smile_dead: ;D
