No chargers around here yet... Just the Crowns & Impallas still... They (Milw. Co Sheriff) are pretty sneaky with the unmarked cars...  They have a red and a black Camaro, a few '07 GTO's (I heard there are 3 of them but only seen one blue one) A white '05 Corvette unmarked and a '03 Caravan. (Maroon)

I was stopped last summer by the red Camaro but he only wanted a better look at the Charger.... He owned a 70 Chally...hehehe

This one was at a Show I went to in Sept. They actually had a class for emergency vehicles and the Charger got 1st in it's class. :shruggy:

As far as I know there aren't any departments in South Dakota that have any, keep trying to get my dad to get at leaste 1 for our department. I would never own one but hell they sure are sharp cruisers.

What, you felt the need to punish me today with '06 pics? Did I do something bad? :shruggy:

As a matter of fact, yes. Took that pic outside my mom's house. The "real" Charger is somewhere back there.

About 3 weeks ago. Brand new style of wheel - the American Racing rep told my tire guy it was one of the first sets to be ordered in 22". They were only available up to 20" before.

I like it.  I was a little skeptical of the huge wheels, but I gotta say, that looks awesome.

The wheel wells on LX's are huge. They actually still kinda look smallish because I got a "rubber band" tire, since it will be lowered at some point and I need to have as much clearance as possible. In fact, I did some measuring the other day, and my 22" wheel/tire set has just about the same overall diameter as the 17 wheel/tire I was running before.

When are you gonna loose the tacky dealership license plate frame?

well you see....my 74 was also originally sold at the same dealership and still has the license plate frame - but its one of the old school metal ones. I think its kinda cool that they both came out of the same place. Other than that..it really hadn't occured to me.

Saw the cops the other day in a magnum wagon cop car, full cop car style, in w. seattle.    Had the cop car paint job, the light bar, etc, thought it was a charger at first driving towards me, then saw it was the wagon,

I like those new chargers lowered with the big rims,  nice wheels ponch, looks good

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

Thanks. Yeah, lowering does a lot for the look of the car. I want to do it, but to do it the right way I need to change springs, shocks, dampers, etc. I could change just the springs, but from what im told my shocks will be shot after a couple of months. Unfortunately a quality spring/shock kit (Eibach) is about $1200, and a KW coilover kit is about $1500.

But I've already spent more $ on it than I ever thought I would spend on a daily driver type car. I think at this point, I should concentrate on the other Charger...

That pic of the silver car with big rims actually doesn't look lowered, but with the rims you have, and that silver car has, they appear lowered, you say the overall height of your rims/tires is the same, but maybe they are a little wider than stock? or stick out farther (offset), so the fender gap appears smaller, looks lowered.    Ya, don't even worry about lowering it, it looks great.  The car is set up from factory already working right, geometry, suspension, etc., if it works- don't fix it.

Yeah, the height is the same...i believe the stock 17" wheel and tire totaled 29", the 22" wheel and tire probably 28.5-29". There is still a pretty big gap between the wheel and the fenders. They are wider....9.5" vs. whatever the stocks where... i think 7" or 8". The offset on the wheel is +18mm, which is exactly what it should be for a non-SRT, non-AWD Charger/Magnum/300. That's how I know I was one of the first to order them  ;D

It looks ok, i guess....but lowering it would be nice. the cars look killer with the right stance. Check out a homie's car...lowered with coilovers.

I see what you mean.   The stance is good lowered,      if your rim is wider and set out farther, from many angles doesn't the gap look smaller?  maybe not from direct side view, but you usually see a car from front and rear angles most of the time driving around or passing them or in traffic.   the edge of tire is closer to the fender, I don't know, but you are right, lowered is lowered.
